Canada Post in ShopSite v12

Beginning with ShopSite version 12, Canadian merchants can now offer their shoppers real-time shipping quotes from Canada Post.  The same seamless integration that US merchants already experience with USPS and other shippers is now available with Canada Post.  And, if you are interested in setting up Canada Post, they have a special $100 promotion going on now.

Setup is straight forward.  First, you will register with Canada Post, then enter that Registration information into ShopSite. Finally, configure the services that you want to offer.  Below is the initial ShopSite Registration screen detailing the steps to get your Canada Post account:

Once you’ve registered, go to the ShopSite configuration screen.  Here are a few screen shots of some of the configuration options.  Select the shipping methods that you want to support (below I’ve displayed Canadian and US options but excluded the international options):

Some of the other options not shown include Delivery Transit Time / Expected Delivery Date, Liability Coverage, and Preferred Language.  Prior to ShopSite v12 our Canadian merchants would need to create their own static shipping tables if they used Canada Post.  With our integration Canadian merchants now have the latest, most accurate rates as well as other services for their shoppers.
