March, 2001 - ShopSite 5.0.1 Released
The ShopSite SC v5.0.1 maintenance release for UNIX operating systems is now available from the shopsite.com FTP site. The maintenance release includes all previously posted v5.0 patches and is available for Linux, Solaris Sparc, BSDI, FreeBSD, and Irix platforms. New Linux Version
For Linux there are now three flavors of ShopSite SC v5.0.1 available, depending on the version of libc you are running (libc5, libc6.0, or libc6.1/6.2). We have provided a script (ckplatform) that can be used to determine what version of libc is on your Linux system. Details are available in the "README-first.txt" file located on the FTP site.
Future Releases
ShopSite TX v5.0.1 for Solaris will be available in the near future. This version will work with Transact versions 5.0 through 5.0.1.
ShopSite SC v5.0.1 for NT or Windows 2000 is entering beta and should also be available very soon.
