E-Commerce Vendor ShopSite Announces Version 11 of Leading Shopping Cart System
-Popular software adds support for Facebook Store, Constant Contact, and has passed PCI Security Standards.
June 1, 2011, Orem, Utah -- ShopSite, Inc., a leading provider of e-commerce shopping cart and catalog software for small to medium-sized businesses, announced the release of ShopSite version 11. ShopSite® is an industry leading e-commerce software option for web hosting providers, for new or existing Internet merchants, and for Web designers.
"ShopSite v11 has also passed the PCI Security Standards Council testing for PA-DSS (Payment Application Data Security Standard)," said ShopSite CEO David Hills. "In addition to many new features, v11 also integrates more tightly with third-party services such as Facebook and Constant Contact" said Hills.
"Constant Contact is supported in ShopSite Manager and Pro. When an order completes ShopSite can now send a shopper's name and e-mail information to Constant Contact to automatically subscribe to the merchants newsletter or other marketing activities. "When buyers go to check out, it's a perfect time to capture their contact information," said Gail Goodman, CEO of Constant Contact. "They've just had a great experience shopping with you and tend to be much more open to staying in touch in the future. This integration is designed to make collecting those details really easy for ShopSite merchants."
